A bit more about Vicky Nealey

I have worked at Peter Edwards Law since 2008.

I began as a receptionist and have gained experience and training representing those who lack capacity.

I eventually became a Paralegal within the Civil Litigation Department who represent clients who are ‘Deprived of their Liberty’ and wish to challenge their detention by making an application to the Court of Protection.

I left for a while and am very happy to have returned.

I am now the Mental Health Tribunal Co Ordinator in the Mental Health Tribunal department where I work closely with Jenny Oxton (department head), Natasha Mafu and Catherine Pease.

My role includes speaking to clients in order to ascertain how best we can assist them. I also assist in preparing and organising documentation and assisting with the day to day running of files and liaising with professionals.

Little known fact...

Whilst on a trip to Las Vegas I visited the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam by Helicopter, it was one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited and would love to visit again one day.

Away from the office...

I enjoy being with friends and family, I am also keen to develop my love of baking and will often take part in “bake off” days within the office in order to raise money for charity.
