A bit more about Natasha Mafu
I have always had an interest in Mental Health Law and have worked in this area since 2018. I worked as a Mental Health Paralegal from October 2018 and became a member of the Law Society’s Mental Health Accreditation Scheme in June 2019.
I very much enjoy representing clients at Tribunals, Hospital Managers’ Meeting and Care Programme Approach (CPA) meetings.
I provide legal advice and assistance to people who are seeking discharge, transfers to a more suitable hospital and s117 aftercare.
I have have experience in cases before the Court of Protection and assisting on issues regarding the provision of services under the Care Act. This experience means that I am able to provide my clients with high quality representation.
Little known fact...
I speak 3 languages fluently. I am a native speaker of Shona and Ndebele.
Away from the office...
In my spare time I enjoy playing netball socially and competitively. I love spending time with family and friends and I love Amapiano Music!
