A bit more about Natasha McDaid
I joined Peter Edwards Law in August 2021 shortly after finishing my degree at the University of Liverpool. I have always wanted to pursue a career in supporting vulnerable people. After completing my LLM in human rights law I developed a keen interest in the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and knew I wished to develop a career within the Court of Protection sector. I began this journey as a legal secretary in Peter Edwards Law and have progressed to a paralegal in the COP department.
My current role is to support senior fee earners representing vulnerable clients in section 21A appeals and welfare proceedings. After a recent sabbatical where I travelled around South-East Asia and Australia, I have returned to Peter Edwards Law and hope to begin my SQE in 2026.
Little known fact...
I am from a small farming village in Ireland and can speak the Irish language.
Away from the office...
I love reading, hiking and travelling. I’ve been to 20 countries so far and have many more on my list.
