Peter Edwards was a keynote speaker at the Be A Force For Change National Advocacy Conference held in London on October 24th 2013.
The conference explored the role advocates play in shaping services and representing service users when things go wrong.
Peter Edwards said, “It was a great honour to speak at the conference. It comes at a pivotal moment in time as health and social care services deal with the fallout from scandals such as the abuse at Winterbourne View and the shocking treatment and deaths of hundreds of patients at the Mid Staffordshire NHS Trust.”
The feedback from the conference was fantastic and Kate Mercer Training who organised the say spoke very highly about Peter’s contribution.
