Abby Watson becomes the latest trainee solicitor to qualify as a fully-fledged solicitor and follows in the footsteps of many team members who have risen through the ranks at the law firm.
A thrilled Abby talked about her recent qualification,
“I joined Peter Edwards Law in February 2018 to follow a career in mental health law and protecting vulnerable adults. I started as a legal secretary and then became a paralegal. The opportunity to train as a solicitor came up and after several years studying and putting what I have learned into practice, I am so happy to tell people I am now a solicitor.
Abby works in the growing Court of Protection department, she added,
”We help many vulnerable people and their families who become frustrated by the lack of a service they receive or the imposition of a service that they do not want. We advise many families and service users who feel aggrieved by the actions of health authorities, social services and even other family members.”
Director Peter Edwards said,
“From the day Abby joined Peter Edwards Law she has shown a passion and dedication to helping vulnerable people. She is a fantastic asset to the team, many of whom have followed the same career path as Abby.”
