A bit more about Duncan Dooley-Robinson...

I have always had an interest in peoples rights. After I finished university I was a volunteer with the CAB and this sparked my interest in pursing a legal career.

I trained with Peter Edwards Law and over the last twenty years I have gained a wealth of experience in all aspects of social care law.

I was employed as a principal solicitor by Liverpool City Council with regards to adult social care matters and I was the lead legal advisor to Cambridge County Council, Central Bedfordshire Council and Northamptonshire County Council on health and social care matters before I commenced work for Peter Edwards Law.

I have advised individuals, local authority child and adult social care teams and individuals within clinical commissioning groups on all aspects of: child care law, the Mental Capacity Act 2005, The Mental Health Act 1983, The NHS Act 2006, The Health and Social Care Act 2012 and the Care Act 2014.

Little known fact...

I was once a shop steward for the GMB union

Away from the office...

Away from the office I enjoy watching my children play sports, walking my dogs, reading and socialising.
